Tour De Fields?

The Tour de Fields is an annual community bicycle ride held in Wellton, Arizona, hosted by the Yuma Region Bicycle Coalition, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting safe and enjoyable bicycling throughout Yuma County and its surrounding communities.

Now heading into its seventh year, the Tour de Fields has become one of the region’s most anticipated cycling events—bringing together families, recreational riders, and cyclists who simply enjoy a good, well-marked ride. Each route highlights the beauty of the Wellton Valley and the fertile fields that feed America and Canada during the winter months. Riders enjoy wide-open desert views, miles of farmland, and the kind of hospitality only a small Arizona town can deliver.

This event continues to grow thanks to dedicated volunteers, local vendors, and the strong support of the Town of Wellton. The ride offers multiple route options each year, ranging from family-friendly distances to longer challenges for riders who want to stretch their legs. No matter the route, everyone ends the morning back at Butterfield Park for the signature spaghetti lunch prepared by the Wellton Offroad Adventure Group in partnership with the Wellton Judo Club.

All proceeds from Tour de Fields benefits local charities and community organizations, including scholarship programs, youth initiatives, and groups such as the Yuma Territorial Judo Club/Wellton Judo Club, Los Psycholists Bike Club, and Parks & Paws.

Whether you’re here for the ride, the scenery, the agriculture, or the community atmosphere, Tour de Fields is more than a cycling event—it’s a celebration of rural Arizona, local farming, and the power of coming together.
